The only class James Martin teaches is titled 'Cook with James Martin'. All other classes are taught by our resident Chef Tutor, unless stated otherwise within the class description.

Ideally comfortable flat shoes with a closed toe and for clothing we recommend trousers and a long sleeved top. We will supply an apron which you get to keep as a souvenir.
We will provide you with containers to take food home and bags to carry them in. However in the interest of sustainability we encourage you to bring your own from home.
Our team will do the majority of the clearing up, but we encourage you to clean as you go to keep your work station tidy.
All Full Day Cookery Classes include lunch in the middle of the day. You may also sit down at the end of the class, depending on the course type. The majority of our Half Day cookery classes include sitting down at the end, unless it is a sweet treats class where the dishes are designed to be taken away. Please check individual course pages for more information.
In the majority of cases we will be able to adjust dishes to accommodate all dietary requirements so please let our reservation team know before you book or on your web booking. There are a very few classes that cannot successfully be adapted to accommodate a certain dietary requirement, this information is displayed on each class. If this is the case we will be more than happy to recommend a class to suit your needs.
The stated finish time of each class, noted in the class overview is an approximate time. Classes can finish later than anticipated depending on guests needs during the class.
We welcome all levels and abilities on all of our classes. For those who have never tried the technique or skill being covered, we will give you all the help and support you need to get great results. For those more confident in the kitchen, we will help you to refine and improve your techniques to enjoy your cooking even more!
Our Junior Chef Cookery Classes are designed specifically for Children aged 8-17 years old. We also have our Family & Friends Kitchen classes in which we can welcome participants age 6 and over, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. All other classes are for adults aged 18 and over.
If you have a pacemaker or similar medical device you should consult your doctor or the manufacturer of the pacemaker or similar medical device for additional information about its effects with electromagnetic fields from induction cooktops before booking or attending our cookery class.
We can accommodate a maximum of 12 people on each of our classes, once the class is fully booked the option to 'join waiting list' appears. This means that should we receive a cancellation for this particular class we will contact you and offer the place.
